Are you referring to the gig on May 13? If so, that's part of the club tour. I actually like the fact that they're doing something small and intimate to celebrate the release of the album. It feels like they're taking a new approach to everything this year, which is pretty cool. But I can see why people are a bit disappointed.

I am only trying for Goteborg as it's the easiest to get from Scotland... They definitely enjoyed the small gigs of 2012 then The KB one was one of the best gigs I have ever seen

Ahhhhh! So pleased for tour dates, but not what I had in mind. A bit unsure at the moment regarding the dates I can go and the festival thing (stockholm my preferred gig).

Hmmm, will need a few days to mull this over.

Corrado, there's 2 different airlines flying to Stockholm from Edinburgh airport (Norwegian & SAS), if the Göteborg one doesn't work out.

I wonder what the capacity of the festival gigs will be? Gärdet is massive.

For anyone who went to the Sjöhistoriska gig, Gärdet is basically the big bit of land arcoss the road from the museum.

Maybe. That is one of the ones that seems accessible, so now I'm seeing how to get the cost down. A couple of the small dates are also good, and to be fair I'd love to watch them indoors, however the timing & ticket availability might mean I go for the outdoor shows.

They're the only tour dates for the summer. We'll just have to wait and see if they'll announce another tour in the fall .

I don't speak Swedish, but I think I can trust stjarnor's translation, and it says

#KENTFEST is the bands only concerts in Sweden this summer

So, not the only concerts in the whole summer, but the only ones IN SWEDEN.

I'm thinking about KENTFEST 01/06 GOTHENBURG Ullevi.
Unfortunately there's no direct flights to Gothenburg from Warsaw at the moment :/
And I wonder how to do it.
And what worries me is the fact that Kentfest is only for people of age 13+. I wanted to take my little kid to this, so we could all go together (me, wife and kid). Right now additional problem is - what to do with kid
On other hand I reaaaaallllly want to see them again.

I think the age limit at Swedish concerts is to do with the sound levels, ie, they want to protect childrens' ears from loud music, so no under 13s. If that makes sense.

Weird that. I thought (compared to the UK) that gigs are much quieter. I think Jocke might have said they are 3db less in Sweden (or similar...) but my memory is a bit patchy

I'm pretty sure it was Reina (who lives in Sweden) who mentioned this age restriction thing last time when the gigs were on. Yeah, Jocke did say they are limited to a certain dB (97? sticks out in my mind). I've never felt the kent gigs were 'quiet' just not overly loud, but I do stand at the back of the crowd- it would certainly be different down the front of the crowd in front of the speakers. Lets say I've never left with ringing in my ears, just a good feeling from the music.

I usually wear earplugs to everything, but I think it's safe to say next time in a Kent show I will go without them most likely.

I remember seeing some English guys outside the Långholmen gig selling earplugs, which was wierd as I'd never seen anyone selling earplugs outside a gig (tickets & fake t-shirts, yes) and the fact that these guys were english too.

Also at the Långholmen gig, a lot of people down the front felt the bass level was too much and it made them feel ill. Again, I was at the back, with a decent-ish view and no sound problems!
